Carbon Reduction & Carbon Footprint Policy

Purpose

Hollmark FM Solutions Ltd recognises that the energy, products and services we use can generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, contributing to climate change. As part of our commitment to responsible environmental management, we are committed to becoming net zero by 2050. This policy sets out our commitments and the actions we are taking to measure, manage and reduce our carbon footprint.

Our Commitments

We are committed to:

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.

Energy management: Monitor and manage energy consumption across our operations and premises.

Measurement and improvement: Carry out annual reviews to assess progress against our targets and identify future energy savings and opportunities for waste minimisation.

Policy alignment: Audit relevant internal policies to ensure they align with our net zero strategy and support carbon reduction.

Supply chain and stakeholders: Promote our carbon reduction ambition to stakeholders and work with suppliers and partners to reduce emissions across our value chain.

Employee engagement: Communicate our net zero ambition to employees and provide guidance to help reduce emissions within their roles and day-to-day activities.

Actions Taken to Date

Actions implemented to support our carbon reduction programme include:

Carbon reduction roadmap: Publishing a roadmap for GHG emission reductions, including a defined base year, and clearly outlining the scope, methodology and measurement approach.

Environmental improvement fund: Establishing a dedicated fund to support environmental improvements and carbon reduction initiatives.

Training and awareness: Introducing staff training to outline our ambitions and improve awareness of practical energy efficiency and carbon reduction measures.

Renewable electricity: Transferring energy contracts so that all electricity supplied to our offices is 100% renewable.

Travel policy review: Reviewing business travel policies to reduce emissions associated with travel and encourage lower-carbon alternatives where appropriate.

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually and/or when significant changes occur that may impact our carbon reduction approach, operations or obligations.
